Who We Are

Brighton and Hove Federation (B&HF) is a member organisation, formed by our 31 Practices that make up the 6 Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in the City. Established in 2018 to enable collaborative, city-wide responses to patient needs, our role is to support Practices, patients and communities; helping people to live healthier lives while making it easier for Practices to deliver high-quality care. We cover Brighton and Hove, and areas outside the city including Saltdean, Rottingdean, Portslade and Falmer (with the GP practice at the University of Sussex).

We work collaboratively with our Practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to provide high quality clinical and support services to NHS Primary Care. This includes identifying need, providing targeted support, and helping Practices respond to healthcare crises and Commissioner requests, such as rapidly mobilising healthcare teams to meet surges in system demand.

Our strength lies in our team of dedicated, skilled, and compassionate staff who are committed to improving people’s experience of accessing health services. If you share our passion for excellent, patient-focused care and would like to work with us, please please visit our vacancies page to explore opportunities to join us.

We design and deliver services with patients at the centre. This means engaging with patients, listening to feedback, and adapting so we can continuously improve the care we provide.
