Who We Are

Brighton and Hove Federation (B&HF) is a member organisation, formed by our 31 Practices that make up the 6 Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in the City. Incorporated in 2018 in response to the need to be able to create at scale responses to patient need, we are here to support Practices, patients and communities; helping people to live a good life and making it easier for Practices to help them do that. We cover Brighton and Hove, and areas outside the city including Saltdean, Rottingdean, Portslade and Falmer (with our base at the University of Sussex).

We work collaboratively with our Practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to provide high quality clinical and support services to NHS Primary Care. We identify need, provide support where required, and help our Practices respond to healthcare crises and Commissioner requests (including quickly mobilising teams of healthcare staff to address fluctuations in system demand).

We achieve this through our team of enthusiastic, caring and qualified staff who want to make a difference in people’s experience of accessing health services. If you believe in providing excellent patient-focused care and would like to work with us, please please visit our vacancies page to find out more.

We plan and deliver services with patients in mind. This means talking to patients, listening to feedback, and being willing to adapt to constantly improve our service.
